MAPS

The bathroom in my apartment is ultra-tiny so I decorated it with my collection of maps. Now it feels as big as Mother Earth. Maps help teach us about all the people and places in the world. It never seems possible to finish inspecting all the things on a map – don’t you agree? . If Planet Earth spins around, how come South America is always on the bottom half of maps? Who draws the lines around the countries? Why can’t we all just get along? Maybe if Kids made maps, there’d be peace on earth.

This doll was created by an artist named Norm Magnusson. He sewed the doll with cloth printed with the map of Afghanistan because he wants the U.S.A. to stop fighting.
